According to their Terms and Conditions, prohibited regions include: “The United States of America, the Republic of Seychelles, Bermuda, Cuba, Crimea, Sevastopol, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Sudan, and Afghanistan.”
The official website tells you they serve 153 countries. However, no KYC and no VPNs are required which means technically, anyone can join the platform - including “prohibited” regions like the US. However, do that at your own risk.

Is Margex Safe?
Margex is based in Seychelles, which a popular region for crypto exchanges. With the info available, Margex is considered secure. However, we wouldn’t recommend holding all your funds on any centralized exchange.
Our main concern is that Margex doesn’t have a Proof of Reserves. However, they have been operating since 2020 with a clean reputation. There have been no reports of hacks, data leaks, or loss of user funds.
Their security page claims 100% of funds are held in cold storage and the customer reviews look positive. They have over 500,000 customers and billions worth of trading volume.
Is Margex Worth It?
Bottom Line: Margex is a decent platform but we found better options available listed in our best non KYC exchanges post.
Margex has limited assets (~20 coins), no spot trading, and slow cryptocurrency withdrawals (Up to 24+ hours). While the UX is beginner-friendly, you might as well use the best platforms that are available.
