How to Bridge to Zetachain (TL;DR)
- Choose a bridge and connect your crypto wallet (eg. MetaMask)
- Select the network you want to transfer tokens from (eg. Base, Cosmos)
- Select the token you want to bridge to Zetachain and enter the amount
- Review and approve the transaction in your wallet
If it's your first time using Zetachain, make sure you receive some $ZETA so you can transact on the network. Some of the bridges below can automatically convert your ETH or crypto to ZETA.
What Are The Fees?
Network fees are required to bridge funds in and out of Zetchain and they vary from blockchain to blockchain. When Bridging from Ethereum Mainnet, it can cost between $10 and $100, while Layer 2 scaling solutions like Optimism, can cost between $1 and $2
Once you have funds on Zetachain, you need $ZETA to transact and pay for gas fees. According to Blockscout, a transaction will only cost 9 Gwei which is currently about $0.30 USD. Network fees fluctuate based on demand.
Best Zetachain Bridges
Zetachain launched their Mainnet in 2024, so here are some of the best bridging protocols available currently. All of these choices will get your funds from Point A to Point B and back.
1. Eddy Finance

Eddy Finance is the best way to bridge to Zetachain because it will convert your tokens to ZETA if you don't have any yet, which the other bridges don't offer. If it's your first time using Zetachain, you need some ZETA to pay for gas fees.
This bridge supports 4 chains including BSC, Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Zetachain. Before getting started, make sure you have tokens on one of those chains. If you want to pay minimal fees, I recommend getting BNB on Binance Smart Chain. You can get BNB in your wallet via Binance or a DEX like PancakeSwap.
How To Use It
- Go to Eddy Finance and connect your wallet
- Fill out the sending and receiving chains
- Enter the amount of tokens you want to send and make sure you receive ZETA
- Confirm the transaction and approve in your wallet
Funds should arrive in a few minutes. After you have a little ZETA, you can use Eddy Finance to withdraw funds or any other bridge like RhinoFi which supports 15+ blockchains instead.
2. Native Bridge

If you want to use the official bridge from Zetachain, this is the way to go. However, it doesn't let you swap tokens for ZETA like Eddy Finance. It supports four chains as well and lets you transfer tokens like BNB, USDC, and USDT.
Keep in mind, you will need to buy some ZETA first if you don't have any yet. If you already have ZETA, you can bridge any token you want.
How To Use It
- Go to ZetaHub (referral link) and click "Get ZETA" in the top right
- Choose a place to purchase ZETA and get it in on your ETH or BSC wallet
- Then, go to the native bridge and connect your wallet
- Select the ZETA token from the dropdown
- Fill out the amount you want to send and the chains
- Submit the transaction and confirm in your wallet
3. RhinoFi

Once you have ZETA, the best way to bridge in and out of Zetachain is with RhinoFi, a Layer 2 bridging protocol that supports 15+ major chains. It doesn't let you transfer ZETA yet, but it supports a lot more networks than Eddy Finance and the native bridge. You can use RhinoFi to send ETH, USDC, USDT, BNB, and MATIC.
RhinoFi has attracted over 1 million wallets, $5B in total volume, and 50 million transactions. Plus it's fast, with transfers taking less than 60 seconds. It works like any other bridge and they're also backed by top names like StarkWare, Ledger, and Consensys (creators of MetaMask).
How To Use It
- Go to RhinoFi and connect your wallet
- Select the token and network you want to send from
- Select "Zetachain" under the receiving section
- Submit the transaction and approve it in your wallet
What Is Zetachain?
Zetachain is a decentralized proof-of-stake blockchain that enables omnichain smart contracts and messaging between any blockchain. Their vision is to help you “access all of crypto from one chain” and to “build truly interoperable dApps that span multiple chains from Ethereum to Bitcoin.”
The Mainnet launched in 2024 along with its native coin, ZETA. They have over 200 partners and dapps in the ecosystem and over 1 million users. To learn more, a good resource is their official documentation.
How to Select the Best Bridge
To select the best bridging protocols, we looked at the following criteria. However, it's key to understand that risks still exist, even with popular protocols.
