Highlights
How to Bridge to Mantle (TL;DR)
- Choose a bridge and connect your crypto wallet (eg. MetaMask, Trust Wallet)
- Select the network and token you want to transfer from (eg. Ethereum, Base)
- In the receiving field, select Mantle and $MNT
- Approve the transaction and confirm it in your wallet
What Are The Fees?
With any blockchain, you’ll pay network fees when bridging funds from one chain to another. If you bridge from Ethereum L1, it might cost $5 to $100, depending on how busy it is. If you bridge with Layer 2 networks like Optimism or Base, it might cost one dollar or less.
Once you have funds on Mantle Network, $MNT is required to pay for gas fees. Over the last month, the average gas fee on Mantle is 0.1 Gwei which is very low. Fees will fluctuate based on network demand.
Best Mantle Bridges
Here are some of the best bridging protocols on Mantle. Each dapp lets you send funds in and out of Mantle using various chains and wallets. However, not all of them allow you to send $MNT, which you need to transact on Mantle. More info below.
1. Symbiosis Finance

Symbiosis is our top pick because you can bridge to Mantle using 25+ networks and swap tokens for MNT, which is required to use Mantle. It supports both well known and growing chains like Base, Ethereum, Tron, Mode, and more.
If you've never used this dapp, it's relatively popular, with over $1.3B in total volume and 1 million transactions. Unfortunately, the other bridges I found can't swap your tokens for $MNT, so this is the easiest option if it's your first time using Mantle.
How To Use It
- Go to Symbiosis Finance and connect your wallet
- Select the token and network you want to send from
- Select Mantle and $MNT in the receiving field
- It will find you a route and then you can confirm the transaction in your wallet
2. Native Mantle Bridge

If you want to use the native bridge from Mantle, this is the way to go. However, you will have to buy $MNT on a CEX or DEX beforehand. Also, it only supports Ethereum Layer 1, so the gas fees will be higher ($5 to $100 depending on how busy it is).
If you have funds on Ethereum and want to save money, it's cheapest to send your ETH to a crypto exchange, buy $MNT, and then withdraw it to your wallet using the Mantle network. You can buy $MNT on many exchanges like MEXC and Bybit.
How To Use It
- Buy $MNT on a CEX or DEX
- Go to the native Mantle bridge and connect your wallet
- Under the "From" section, select $MNT
- Enter the amount you want to send
- Submit the transaction and confirm in your wallet
3. Other Mantle Bridges
Here are other cross-chain bridges that support Mantle and many blockchains. However, keep in mind these only let you bridge tokens like ETH and USDT.
What Is Mantle?
Mantle Network is an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution that uses Optimistic rollups. Their blockchain aims to provide fast, low-cost transactions while maintaining Ethereum’s L1 security.
The Mainnet launched in 2023. Today, the network has over $300M in TVL and 200 dapps in its ecosystem. For more info, check out their official docs.
How to Select the Best Bridge
To select the best bridging protocols, we looked at the following criteria. However, it's key to understand that risks still exist, even with popular protocols.
Summary
Bridging to Mantle for the first time can be tricky, because you need to find a way to get $MNT on the network. However, the easiest option is with Symbiosis Finance, since it will convert your tokens to $MNT. You can also send $MNT to your wallet from a crypto exchange and then use bridges like RhinoFi to transfer USDC or USDT.
