To use the Solana ecosystem, you need a Solana wallet with some SOL to pay for transaction fees. You can download Phantom wallet below and then bridge funds to Solana or deposit SOL from a centralized exchange.

1. Phantom Wallet

Phantom is the most popular wallet on the Solana network with over 3 million users. The odds of a Phantom airdrop are slim, but it's worth giving a shot since you need a Solana wallet anyway for the next tasks.

However, they said the snapshot took place on November 25, 2023 so it might be too late to participate.

4. Marinade Finance

However, another retroactive airdrop is unlikely. Marinade has already done airdrops in the past and their team said, "We kind of fired all of our airdrop bullets."
